Combiner Force

As far as you know,Combiner Force is coming really soon. I can't wait!!!
So far, lots of things and characters are confirmed.

Hasbro has unveiled the covers of Transformers: Robots In Disguise Season 3. The actual Season 3. Titled as Combiner Force, the new season (out in 2017) will pit our beloved Autobots against Decepticon Combiners. But, Bumblebee and his team will have a trick of their own.

Official Synopsis:
“In the Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series, Bumblebee and his team of Autobots — Grimlock, Strongarm, Sideswipe, Autobot Drift, and Fixit — have figured out how to work together. They’ve captured escaped Decepticon prisoners, defeated longstanding enemies, and defended our planet without any humans (other than their close allies Denny and Russell) knowing they’re here.
In the upcoming third season of the hit series, their ability to work together will be put to the ultimate test! The team faces a new Decepticon threat that is literally the biggest one they’ve faced: a team of five Decepticons who can combine to form a giant super robot and pulverize anything that stands in their way. The Decepticon Combiner team is set to wreak havoc on Earth, and it’s up to Bumblebee and the Autobots to stop them!

The team will discover that they, too, are more than meets the eye. The Decepticons aren’t the only ones who can combine into different bigger, more powerful forms! As sinister new forces rise in the galaxy and powerful enemies unite to bring down the Autobots once and for all, the team must not only learn how to fight when combined with one another, but to truly work as one. All their training…every captured Decepticon…every hard-fought battle…has as all been leading up to this. To emerge victorious, Bumblebee and the Autobots must become…a COMBINER FORCE!”
We’ve got word that the latest assortment of Robots in Disguise Three Step Changers – and the first one to bear the new “Combiner Force” branding – has arrived at US retail. TFW2005 member Rookbartley reports finding the new Three Step Changers Grimlock and Thunderhoof at a Meijers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Grimlock here is an entirely new mold, while Thunderhoof is a redeco of his previous Three Step Changer toy.
These two, along with new molds of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, were previously seen at a launch event for the assortment in the Philippines. We’ve also had reports that the Bumblebee and Optimus Prime are out in the wild at stores such as Five Below, so happy hunting one and all!

Via Ozformers, we have learned that the next promotion that McDonalds in Australia will be offering through their Happy Meals will be Transformers Robots in Disguise! The McDonalds Australia website shows off a total of five figures being offered – Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Strongarm, and Drift. Each one has articulated arms, plus either sword accessories Optimus and Drift), missile launchers (Grimlock and Strongarm) or oversized, butterfly looking door wings (Bumblebee). Check out the image attached to this post.

A picture uploaded by Milo Lopez at Transformers Chile Facebook group, shows a bus (apparently from Hong Kong) with a RID banner. The interesting part is that we see the previously reported possible Autobot Combiner together with a new Decepticon combiner which looks like Menasor.
Are Menasor and the Stunticons ready to debut in RID?
2005 Board member Payres has shared with us an image of a standee in United Kingdom Asda stores. This standee houses several of the new Combiner Force figures that are currently on store shelves, but the art attached to the standee reveals something much more! Pictured on the standee is a Robots In Disguise combiner that appears to feature Bumblebee as the torso, Strongarm and Sideswipe as the arms and Grimlock as the legs. It looks very interesting so far. Could this be what was teased less than a week ago?  Quite possibly.
Thanks to 2005 board member Strarf for sharing a news tidbit with us for the Robots In Disguise “Crash Combiners” line. Strarf’s local Wal-Mart in Indiana added a new shelf tag to their floor space. The tag reads – “TRA RID DEC DRAGSTR N WILDBREAK“. Whether or not these are new molds for the line or repaints of the Autobot cars in Decepticon colors remains to be seen. But, with a dragster and a name like “Wildbreak” speculation leads us to believe these may be Stunticon themed in some way or another. Time will tell as we get more information.

Care of several TFW2005 members, we can report a bunch of new sightings from the Combiner Force subline of the current Robots in Disguise line in the UK.
First and foremost, TFW2005 member Collectoron reports that the Robots in Disguise Combiner Force Warrior Wave 1 has arrived at UK retail. They were spotted in the Melton  Mowbray Sainsbury’s. This is the assortment which gives us a white, IDW inspired version of Drift, a wider released version of Starscream, who was a Toys R Us exclusive last year, as well as new characters Stormshot and Blastwave.
Second on the back of this, TFW2005 member returner reports spotting the first assortment of Combiner Force branded Legion figures in the Tesco in Hednesford, with a further sighting by TFW member Stripes at the Tesco Extra in Streatham. Combiner Force Legion Wave 1 adds two new molds into the mix – Springload and Starscream. It also offers repacks of the previous Legion versions of Optimus Prime and Grimlock.
Eric John A. Cruz and Xavier Basa are providing us even more Transformers: Robots In Disguise Combiner Force in-hand images from the event in Philippines.
We now have a very clear look at the new Warrior Class Windblade figure which comes with a new head-sculpt. Other changes include color yellow replacing her once light blue parts and an overall deeper red color.
New Warrior Class Blurr seems to be heavily inspired from his Rescue Bots self. When RID Sideswipe took a visit to meet the Rescue Bots (Season 4 Episode 20 – The Need For Speed), the character stated that he will be recommending Blurr to Team Bee. Based on the toy, it seems as though Blurr may have an appearance in a future crossover.
The official You Tube page of Hasbro has posted a TV Commercial for Transformers: Robots in Disguise – Combiner Force.
“Crash and combine forces to become more than meets the eye! Turn two into one with Robots in Disguise Crash Combiners and Activator figures.”

Listings have gone up on Australian websites for a second Robots in Disguise Season 2 DVD from Beyond Home Entertainment. The second DVD, titled Misdirection, is expected to collect the next four episodes of the show’s second season. The description for the disk mirrors the events of the episode Misdirection, with no reference to other episodes that may be on the disk – so we’re guessing at the contents, based on Beyond’s previous track record. The DVD is hitting Australian retail on 1 February, 2017. This is a bonus info for Season 2.

Amazon UK has a new book listing not available on their US counterpart (yet). The new book is based on Transformers: Robots In Disguise and the target readers are little kids.

TFW2005 member Fasttrack reports seeing these guys at a Myer CBD in Melbourne Australia. Happy hunting, one and all!

A new Walmart listing is revealing a possible addition to the Transformers: Robots In Disguise Warrior Class toyline. Among many other new and re-releases is Thermidor; a Deception featured on the 5-Part TV Event last Fall.
Named after a popular French lobster dish very much like Bisk, we can speculate that this new toy is a repaint of Warrior Class Bisk which was released October this year. We currently do not have an image of the new toy.

A video showcasing Transformers: Robots In Disguise Activator Combiner Soundwave was uploaded by Hasbro’s official Transformers page a few days back. However, the video did not contain any audio (not to be confused with the other video which was deliberately muted).
The second video is back… and with audio. With it, you will get an in-depth look at the creation of the newly re-formatted Decepticon forTransformers: Robots In Disguise Season 3 – Combiner Force.
Soundwave comes with Laserbeak and can be quickly transformed in just 5 steps.

Another new Transformers: Robots In Disguise DVD release is set for Australia.
Titled as ‘Overloaded’, the release contains just one DVD with a 110 minute running time; which we expect to be the first 6 episodes of Season 2.
Description:
After the Primes regain the portions of their Sparks they lent Optimus Prime for his battle with Megatronus Optimus finds himself weaker than anyone expected! The weakened Optimus must learn to contribute in ways other than combat if his team is to bring down the Decepticons, meanwhile Bumblebee decides to divide the remaining Autobots into “Home” and “Away” teams to better search for the escaped ‘Cons. Yet another Season 2 bonus info.

Wait is not long for the fans of Transformers: Robots In Disguise.
Thanks to a Press Release we’ve received from Cartoon Network (Germany)Season 3 of RID is to air January next year.
A specific date is not announced yet but the season (named as Combiner Force) is to air 6:40AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
We expect the global rollout of the season to happen around the same time frame.

Fans of Transformers Robot in Disguise in the United States may want to pay attention to this one because Robot in Disguise Combiner Force Legions has been spotted at Target store in Greenwood, Indiana by board member SAF7. Among the figures seen are newcomers to Legions class Springload and Starscream, and returning cast members Optimus Prime and Grimlock
Robots In Disguise  game titled “Transformers: Robots In Disguise Power Up For Battle” is based on Season 2.5 of the series. Optimus Prime must battle Starscream while picking up Minicon Powerups. This game is a very simple Fighting Game.bath set

Many oddities exists when it comes to Transformers branded product, and the latest one discovered in a Walmart was bottles of Transformers: Robot in Disguise themed “Drink & Play” Surprise Beverage that comes packaged with a mini figurine. Each bottle of this drink, manufactured by SURPRISE DRINKS USA, comes with a small capsule containing a small figure that is about 1.5 inch tall, much like the kind that comes in the famed Kinder Surprise eggs. The series of figures includes Bumblebee, Strongarm, Grimlock, Sideswipe, and Optimus Prime.
